PE and Sport Premium

The Government is spending over £450 million on improving physical education (PE) and sport in primary schools over the 3 academic years 2013 to 2014, 2014 to 2015 and 2015 to 2016.

The funding is ring-fenced and can only be spent on provision of PE and sport in schools. It is for schools to decide how the funding is spent. However, schools are to be held accountable for how they have used the additional funding.
